The Viking Voice is now on Kix Country 99.5 for the 2008 football season. Kix Country 99.5 is a 50,000 watt station allowing more Viking Fans to listen to the Vikings on Friday nights in the fall! Fans will also be able to catch all the action and Listen LIVE on the internet at www.995kixcountry.fm. |
The Vikings win 41-13 over the Luella Lions in Rd. 1 of the AAAAA playoffs to go 11-0 on the season. The Vikings were up 21-0 at the half and elected to give the 2nd team some work in the 2nd half. The Lions scored all 13 points against the JV Vikings. Next week the Vikings will host Bradwell Inst. after their win over East Coweta. Game time will be 8:00 PM at Martin Stadium. Season Ticket holders will be able to purchase their regular seats beginning Monday at 9:00 AM. ALL Seats are $8.00 as set by the GHSA. Any season ticket seats not purchased by 5:00 PM Tuesday will go on sale to the general public on a first come first serve basis. Be sure and catch the Coaches Show this Tuesday night at Loco's.
